Rare Breed Pedigree Pigs <\/strong><\/p>\n We produce the Oxford Sandy and Black pigs, known as the \u2018plum pudding pig\u2019; it is one of the oldest British pig breeds. The OSB\u2019s as they are also known, are registered with the rare breed survival trust, and in recent years, the numbers have increased.<\/p>\n They make excellent milky Mums, generally producing large litters.<\/p>\n Breed standards are very important, and specific characteristics of the pig must be adhered to for the pig to be registered as suitable for breeding.<\/p>\n The high standard insures only the best stock goes on to produce the high standard required.<\/p>\n Sheep<\/strong><\/p>\n Raising sheep is very rewarding. Our sheep graze all year round in beautiful green Pasteur land. We produce healthy wholesome lambs, with the meat being tender and full of flavour. We exercise paddock management to ensure the sheep have a constant supply of natural grazing land. We plan to welcome a new breed of sheep onto the farm shortly.<\/p>\n Hog Roast\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n From this year, we now have the facility to offer hog roasts. We use pigs that are raised from our farm.
